Equipment Pilates

A refreshing mind-body workout emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, concentration on smooth flowing movements and becoming acutely in tune with your body, learning how to control its movement.  We use state of the art Balance Body equipment.  In Pilates the quality of movement is valued over quantity of repetitions.  Proper breathing is essential, and help you execute movements with maximum power and efficiency.  Learning to breathe properly can reduce stress.  But it's also challenging .  Pilates is an extremely flexible exercise system.  Modifications to the exercises allow for a range of difficulty from beginner to advanced.  Get what your body needs today and increase the intensity as your body conditioning improves.

High Intensity Interval Training

A sustainable fitness program that can change your life.  Based on the most current HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) training research and timing protocol.  Small group personal training 30 minute workouts 2-3 times per week.  Tabata Bootcamp is designed for those who are new to working out or for the seasoned boot camper.  We also offer active aging Tabata Bootcamp!

When taking a Barre Above™ workout:

 Balletone is a fun energetic barefoot cardio (if you choose) non-impact series of exercises sure to get your heart pumping.  Combining fitness, Pilates, ballet, and yoga.

Chair support for seated and standing movements

Enjoy this fun class with a small group environment for personalized attention.  This class is designed to increase strength, flexibility, balance, improve range of movement improve daily living, breathing techniques, stress reduction and mental clarity.  Chair support is offered for standing or seated movements.  Men and Women are welcome to attend this class.
Balanced Chair Yo-Chi is also offered once per week.  A fusion of Tai Chi and Yoga all done in a chair.

Fusion of Tai Chi and Yoga

It’s a fusion program that gives you benefits in both stability or strength and mobility or flexibility combining the two oldest mind body programs that still exist today. So much of yoga depends on being still and finding stability, and so much of T’ai Chi involves slow, controlled never ending mobility, but by doing these disciplines together– either alternating or in combination–can help increase your overall wellness. Furthermore, the fact that these two disciplines have survived for hundreds of years attests to the fact they truly offer something for everyone.
